Introducing Head Coach Elvis Seveali’i!

Cal Women’s Rugby is excited to introduce our new head coach, Elvis Seveali’i! Before joining the CWR family, Elvis has had over 17 years of professional coaching and playing experience. His coaching experience has taken him around the world, from Las Vegas to England to Dubai, training all different ages and levels. Elvis is also an experienced player, specializing in the positions of wing and center.  During his career as a player, Elvis played for many teams internationally including New Zealand, England, France, Italy, Samoa and Hong Kong. Elvis strongly believes in helping rugby players develop and grow their talents and personalities with Rugby Core Values and the fundamentals of rugby, helping to bring out the best in each and every player both on and off the field. Taking on the role of coaching 49 players, 26 of whom are brand new to rugby this season, Elvis has already helped develop the team and lead them to multiple victories in the 2017 spring tournaments. With an amazing rookie squad, 23 returning players and a talented and experienced head coach, CWR is ready and excited to face our opponents on the field and bring exciting and fierce rugby to our CWR fans!
